Barbara Willis - Interim Director

I realize this is a very difficult time for many of us, change brings about uncertainty, along with fear and anxiety. Change is also a time for growth and advancement. To clarify the situation… We realize there is confusion and and lack of clarity at the moment. Many rumors are floating that are unfounded.

I am pleased to accept the position of Interim Executive Director effective April 1, 2022. I have had the privilege of working here at the Shrine for the past almost 7 years as the Development Director under the guidance of Sr. Bridget Zanin, MSC. I have the honor to follow in Sr. Bridget’s footsteps and trust me when I say they are very big shoes to fill! Sr. Bridget has been most generous in sharing her vision for the future of the Shrine and I look forward to assuming her role.

There is a great team here in place at the Shrine and together we won’t miss a beat. I hope many of you are familiar with me in my role here in Development where I’ve had the opportunity to build relationships and fundraise for this organization. I’d love for you to stop in and have coffee, I want to hear your thoughts and ideas. This is a community and mission that I’m passionate about and have the privilege to keep moving forward. With that in mind, I ask the Holy Spirit to guide me under the protection of Mother Cabrini as I embark on this new adventure and journey filled with courage, hard work, and determination.
