From Lakeshore Drive
- Take the Fullerton Parkway ramp (west) for .4 miles to Lakeview Avenue traffic light.
- Turn right/north for .9 miles and Shrine will be on your left at the corner of St. James
Place and Lakeview Avenue.
Take Fullerton Avenue Exit 47 A
Head East on Fullerton Avenue 2.3 miles (past traffic light at Clark Street) to Lakeview Avenue
Turn left/north on Lakeview Avenue for .9 miles,
Shrine will be on your left at the corner of St. James Place and Lakeview Avenue
Car Parking Information
Parking is available in the 2550 N. Lakeview Avenue condominium garage (on Deming between Lakeview and Clark) on a first come, first served basis. If you are part of a group tour or retreat and have arranged for parking in your facility agreement, there will be no fee to park in the lot during your tour/retreat. However, cars must be removed after your tour/retreat hours. Cars remaining after hours are subject to being ticketed or towed at the car owner’s expense.
The garage entrance is directly across the street from 462-460 W. Deming Place.
A sign above the garage reads “Private Parking.”
Press the button on the intercom; let attendant know you are visiting the Shrine.
Park in any spot on main floor marked “Church Parking.”
If those spots are full, let the attendant know and they will locate a parking spot for you if one is available.
Once parked, use St. James Place pedestrian entrance at the southwest corner of garage.
Once outside, head left to the Shrine entrance.
Charter Bus Parking Information
To accommodate buses and group vans, there is charter bus parking available.
Look for the "Charter Bus" parking sign on the west side of Lakeview Avenue, in front of the Shrine entrance.
Buses may NOT idle in the parking space. Engines must be turned off while in the chartered parking space.
Vehicles/buses in the spot without notice to the Shrine are subject to being ticketed and towed at the owners expense.
