Wabash College Glee Club Concert
Saturday, October 27, 2018
Location: Shrine Chapel
The Wabash College Glee Club will perform a variety of music, ranging from American Folk Songs and Spirituals to pieces from around the world. The full ensemble will be joined by The Wabash T-Tones Chamber Ensemble performing music from Latin America, vocal jazz, and contemporary settings of classic texts.
Performing for a variety of College activities and concerts during the academic year, the group also makes annual concert tours in the U.S. and they have also toured internationally. The group was invited to participate in the Intercollegiate Men's Chorus National Seminar at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the spring of 2016. This May, the Glee Club will travel to Taiwan for a 12-day singing tour.
An ensemble for men who enjoy singing, Glee Club members are drawn from all academic disciplines. The group's mission is the pursuit of excellence in the art of singing; the establishment of close friendships within the Club enhances this excellence.
Admission is free. Free Will donations to the Shrine are accepted and appreciated!
