"The Church and society expect great things from us...and immense will be the good work we all do." - St. Frances Cabrini, 'Letter to Students'
Looking to share your gifts of time and talent?
Volunteers are vital to the ongoing life at the Shrine. See below for ways to get involved in the mission and ministry of the Shrine. We look forward to hearing from you!
Masses at the Shrine: Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday at 10:00 a.m.
Volunteers are needed for each Mass in the roles of:
- Eucharistic Minister
Each Mass requires (2) Lectors, (3) Eucharistic Ministers, and (2) Ushers. Volunteers indicate their availability and are placed on the schedule accordingly.
Docent a Special Tour or Program at the Shrine
Individuals interested in a docent role will receive a docent packet and instructions. Once trained, volunteers give tours based upon their availability. This role is a great way to stay engaged at the Shrine and share your knowledge of Mother Cabrini.
We will add your email address to our volunteer list. In the event the Shrine holds a special event or is in need of assistance with a special program, we will email out a notice describing the need and ask for volunteers. This role is a great way to stay engaged with the Shrine and offers an opportunity to participate as you are available.
Volunteer to sit at the reception desk, answer the phone, greet our visitors and provide general office assistance. This role is essential as you will act as hospitality for visitors first entering the Shrine. Sign up on our online volunteer form.
