The Shrine is open for Private Prayer.
Private Prayer Time:
Wednesday - 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
There is a maximum of 10 people permitted in the Shrine at one time.
In order to maximize the number of persons, private prayer is limited to 20 minutes.
RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED
All reservations must be booked 24 hours in advance
We cannot guarantee admittance to the Shrine for Private Prayer without a reservation.
Chicago Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Allison Arwady said travelers entering or returning to Chicago from "states experiencing a surge in new COVID-19 cases" will need to quarantine "for a 14-day period from the time of last contact within the identified state."
States included in the order are: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
Please do not make a reservation for Private Prayer at the Shrine if you are entering or returning to Chicago
from any of the states listed above prior to 14 days from your last contact.
