Francesca Cabrini was born on July 15, 1850 in Sant' Angelo Italy. She was born prematurely and there was concern she might not survive but despite her frailty and lifetime health struggles, she opened 67 institutions in her 67 years of life. On Sunday, July 14 at our 10:00 a.m. mass we will celebrate the birthday of the first American Citizen Saint, Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini, a compelling and devout woman who lived by her motto "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Following mass there will light refreshments in the Narthex area of the Shrine.
